Multi Award-Winning Comfort

The best available food, warmth and shelter is standard on our active wilderness holidays, with selected character lodgings as well as quality camp craft and equipment. This ensures that you have the most rewarding and memorable experience. Stay at our multi award-winning Larapinta Trail exclusive eco-comfort camps.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing custodianship of the land, waters and culture for over 60,000 years. We pay our respects to them and their elders past, present and emerging. We are privileged to learn from them in the way we care for and share Australia’s diverse nature and culture, and we strive to walk humbly in the footsteps of those who have walked these paths before us.
Our Reconciliation Action Plan outlines our commitment to building respectful relationships, creating meaningful opportunities, and addressing inequalities that have historically existed.

Carbon Footprint

So what does 100 kg of carbon look like? Here is a rough guide to help put it into perspective:

Taking a short 1-hour flight
Driving a petrol car around 400km (250 miles)
Doing 100 loads of laundry

Discover how we're working to cut carbon emissions from our adventures by exploring the Climate Action page within our Responsible Travel hub.

Please note trip footprints do not include flights to and from the tour.

Awards

World Expeditions hold an Air Travel Organisers Licence (ATOL) no. 4491 issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). All the flights and flight-inclusive holidays on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. When you pay you will be supplied with an ATOL Certificate. Please ask for it and check to ensure that everything you booked (flights, hotels and other services) is listed on it. Please see our booking conditions for further information or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate go to www.atol.org.uk/atolcertificate.
